Our client is one of the UK’s largest HealthTech companies and delivers care, nursing, telehealth and repeat prescription services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an entrepreneur in a fast growing company who is keen to take on a new challenge where one has to start almost from „greenfield“ in Germany. The successful candidate needs to be self-starting, driven and business minded yet strategic and implementation oriented at the same time. The function needs to ensure excellence in terms of sales growth, business planning and management as well as team building capabilities and outstanding sales process support in very close relationship with the Headquarter organization in the UK. A pragmatic focus is essential in order to balance the company’s growth expectations and customer needs. All this requires a highly self-motivated and mature individual, who is committed to drive the ambulant care service business success in Germany.

• Responsibility for the overall leadership, operational performance, and strategic direction of the business, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ambulant care services in Germany
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements relating to ambulant care services
• Overall responsibility for financial performance, budgets, and profitability; including monitoring operational and financial performance, implementing improvements where required
• Ensure effective financial management, reporting, and cost control
• Work with the Board to develop sustainable financial growth strategies
• Support the identification, acquisition, and successful integration of new ambulant care businesses, i. e. identifying opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth within the ambulant care sector
• Contribute to due diligence processes for potential acquisitions
• Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring operational alignment, cultural integration, and service continuity

Qualifications

• Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing Science, Business Administration, or a related field; alternatively, a recognised nursing qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse) combined with relevant management training; an advanced degree (e. g. MBA or equivalent) is considered an advantage
• Demonstrable experience working within the ambulant care sector
• Significant senior leadership experience, ideally at Director or Managing Director level
• Experience in supporting or leading business acquisitions within the care sector as well as integrating newly acquired businesses into an existing organisation is desirable
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational requirements within care services
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
