We are looking for a Head of Product Design to lead and scale our design function while shaping the experience of our products.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on design work. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across the company to ensure design plays a central role in how we build and evolve our products.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the design culture and experience strategy of a fast-growing deep-tech company.

Your challenge

• Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of high-quality design, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Define and drive the design vision across LiveEO’s product portfolio, ensuring we deliver market-leading user experiences
• Help translate complex satellite and geospatial data into intuitive, powerful enterprise software
• Establish and evolve design processes, systems, and best practices as the company scales
• Define UX success metrics and design goals aligned with business outcomes
• Contribute hands-on design work as the design lead for one of our product teams
• Facilitate ideation workshops and design reviews with cross-functional teams
• Partner closely with engineering, product, sales, and marketing to align design efforts with product strategy and business goals
• Monitor product performance using metrics such as NPS, adoption, and usage insights to inform design improvements
• Advocate for design thinking and a customer-first approach across the organization

Your profile

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering products for professional or enterprise users
• 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring product designers
• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful product design, strategic thinking, and measurable impact (Include portfolio with your application)
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and experience working in agile product development environments
• Experience designing complex software products, ideally in SaaS, data, analytics, or enterprise platforms
• Experience working with AI-powered design tools, prototyping tools, and design systems
• Ability to influence product strategy through customer insights and user research
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across product, engineering, and business teams
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• A proactive, curious mindset and passion for building great products and teams

About us

LiveEO is a well funded startup founded in 2018 and based in Berlin. Our primary service is modelling risk to our customers’ assets and infrastructure from vegetation, ground deformation and change detection. We currently have around 160 employees from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds
