Communications & Content Manager (m/f/d, part-time)
b2venture is entering its next chapter, building on 25 years of venture investing while actively shaping the future of European technology. We are looking for a Communications & Content Manager (m/f/d) to help bring that journey to life.
This is a newly created role with real ownership, giving you the opportunity to shape how b2venture communicates its perspective and supports its founders and portfolio companies.
Founded in 2000, b2venture is one of Europe’s most experienced venture capital firms. We back exceptional founders building transformative technologies and category-defining companies. Our portfolio includes Neura Robotics, DeepL, Nelly, Urban Sports Club, 1KOMMA5°, Raisin, and SumUp.
b2venture combines early-stage fund investments with stage-agnostic direct investments, supported by a community of more than 350 angel investors, including founders, operators, and industry leaders who actively contribute capital, experience, and networks.
In this role, you will gain deep exposure to both the startup and venture capital world, working closely with ambitious founders while shaping how b2venture shows up across the broader European ecosystem.

Aufgaben
Your mission
Your mission is to make the b2venture perspective visible and relevant across the ecosystem.
You will translate our investment philosophy, long-term approach, and day-to-day work with founders into clear, credible, and consistent communication. At the same time, you will actively support our founders and portfolio companies in their key communication moments.
This role offers significant ownership and collaboration across the venture landscape: including founders, angel investors, limited partners, media, and external partners.
Your role
Own and develop our external communication
- Manage and further develop our owned channels (LinkedIn, newsletter, blog, website)
- Plan and execute editorial calendars
- Ensure consistent quality, clarity, and tone across all content
- Translate complex topics into accessible, well-structured communication
Strengthen our positioning
- Contribute to the continuous development and refinement of b2venture’s messaging
- Connect insights across fund investments, direct investments, and our angel community
- Ensure our communication reflects our long-term, conviction-driven approach
Manage media and announcements
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists across DACH and Europe
- Proactively pitch stories and handle inbound media requests
- Own fund and portfolio funding announcements end-to-end in close collaboration with founders and the investment team
- Coordinate external agencies
Support portfolio companies
- Provide guidance, templates, and sparring for key communication moments
- Amplify important portfolio milestones
- Support speaker placements and event-related communication
Develop and refine formats
- Test and evolve formats such as interviews, articles, or video content
- Identify opportunities to reuse and extend existing content across channels
Qualifikation
Your profile
- 3–5+ years of experience in communications, PR, journalism, brand, or content
- Experience in venture capital, startups, tech, or an agency environment is a strong plus
- Strong writing and editing skills with a clear sense of tone and structure
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Curious about venture capital and the European startup ecosystem
You write in clear, precise English and German and are comfortable communicating complex topics in a concise and thoughtful way.
You are proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable working with founders, investors, media, and stakeholders across the ecosystem.
