Freelance (Senior) Backend PHP/Pimcore Developer [w/m/x] - EN

As a Backend Developer, you will develop smart solutions in PHP, mostly based on Pimcore, which you will implement together with your interdisciplinary team and your developer colleagues.

Your tasks

• Independent development, implementation and integration of PHP solutions, primarily based on Pimcore

• Architecture, data modeling (ERD, MySQL) and interface development (GraphQL, REST, etc.)

• Coordination of functionalities with customers and advice on technical details - you keep an eye on IT security, performance and maintainability.

• CD, CI, monitoring, quality assurance and test automation in the team

• Sparring and coaching with your colleagues, bug fixing and supporting the customer success team

What you bring with you (depending on your seniority)

• If you have Pimcore experience, you've come to the right place

• Depending on your seniority, you have several years of professional project experience with PHP and very good knowledge of Symfony

• Experience in the development of web applications and interface technologies (e.g. REST/GraphQL ... SOAP), as well as in container-based software development and its operation (with Docker).

• Good knowledge of database modeling and optimization (MySQL)

• Knowledge of software engineering methods and tools, e.g. Scrum, Jira/Confluence, VCS/Git/Bitbucket, Composer, Codeception/PHPUnit, PHPStan, Bitbucket Pipelines etc.Basic knowledge of managing Linux server operating environments and Docker-based development

• Ideally, you have also already gained experience with other services such as ElasticSearch, Redis and RabbitMQ and have been able to build up initial knowledge in cloud-based system development in AWS (EC2/RDS, Cloudfront, Cloudformation/CDK, Code Pipelines, CloudWatch etc.).
