Chief of Staff (Senior Generalist)

About the Role

This is the senior generalist seat working directly alongside the founding team at a fast-growing consumer healthtech startup based in Berlin. You own the workstreams that decide whether the company wins each quarter, moving fluidly across commercial, operational, and product work as priorities shift. The team is small, the pace is high, and every person who joins now has a real hand in shaping how the company scales.

What You'll Do

• Own critical workstreams end to end, from framing the problem through to shipping and measuring outcomes.

• Move between commercial, operational, and product priorities, sometimes within the same week.

• Build structure and process where none exists, and rebuild it as the company outgrows it.

• Translate founder priorities into execution across the team without becoming a management layer.

• Build and automate workflows yourself so that manual tasks do not recur.

• Contribute meaningfully to team-building and hiring decisions.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years in roles with real ownership, such as startup operations, founder's office, strategy, or consulting.

• Evidence of operating at an exceptional level and delivering results on compressed timelines.

• Direct experience working with founders or C-level executives in an operational or strategic capacity.

• Hands-on experience building AI automations and workflows yourself, not only specifying them for others.

• Comfortable in ambiguity with the ability to self-direct from a blank page.

• Strong analytical and communication skills: able to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.

• Experience in healthcare or consumer health is a plus, as is a background in top-tier management consulting.

• Fluent German (spoken and written) is required, along with strong English.

• Based in Berlin or genuinely willing to relocate; this role is on-site five days a week.

• Valid local work authorization for Germany is required; no visa sponsorship is available.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of €70,000 to €100,000 annually, with flexibility at the upper end for exceptional candidates. A meaningful equity stake is included as a genuine part of the total package. No visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Berlin, Germany , five days per week.
