Working Student - Marketing Technology Engineering

We are looking for a working student curious about building internal tools and automation systems that power JustWatch's marketing campaigns across the web's biggest platforms.

We provide you with a space to develop and be a central part of our growing team. You will have a lot of autonomy, with in-depth mentorship where needed. Learn to build production-grade systems that enable our marketing team to deliver high-performing, intelligent campaigns at scale.

You will be able to actually ship things that have an impact on the company, and that will be used every day.

Our Stack

We build services in Go that power JustWatch's marketing technology platform, with a focus on reliability and automation. We integrate with major advertising platforms to automate campaign management, optimize targeting, and capture performance data.

• Develop backend services in Go that automate campaign management across advertising platforms
• Build internal tools that help our marketing team create, monitor, and optimize campaigns
• Work on systems that intelligently target audiences and improve campaign performance
• Integrate with external APIs from major advertising platforms
• Develop automation workflows that eliminate manual work and enable data-driven decisions
• Explore opportunities to leverage modern tooling like AI to enhance our platform capabilities
• Debug production issues and ensure our marketing technology stack runs smoothly

• Foundation in software engineering (Go experience is a plus)
• Understanding of web technologies ( REST APIs, web services)
• Interest in automation, data processing, or marketing technology
• Curiosity about modern tooling and emerging technologies like AI
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases and data modeling
• Comfortable working with Git and command-line tools
• Bonus: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or advertising platforms
