GTM Internship - France

Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 35 person start-up who last year graduated from Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with plans to expand into the French market where we are looking to hire out a new team.

Role description

We’re launching autarc in France - and we’re looking for a driven GTM Intern to help bring autarc to market. You’ll work directly with our founding team, acting as the connective tissue between inbound customers, local installer partners, fairs and shows, and our global product and marketing teams.

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing climate tech startup as one of our first hires in France. You’ll have a front-row seat in everything from sales to strategy and local market expansion.

• Conduct virtual product demos with inbound clients and guide them through our software

• Support customers via phone, email, or live chat during onboarding and setup

• Connect with local heat pump and solar installers, and manage early partner relationships

• Attend industry trade shows and events to build our presence in the France

• Coordinate with global marketing to create localised landing pages, brochures, and demo materials

• Build structured feedback loops from French users and partners back into the product and engineering teams

You’ll be based in our Berlin office, working closely with our international and local GTM team.

Requirements

• A top-tier academic background in Business, Economics or a related field
• Experience in fast-paced environments like startups, VC, consulting, or investment banking
• A generalist mindset: you’re curious, adaptable, and comfortable jumping into new topics
• Fluent in French and English
• Willingness to get hands dirty and push things from 0 to 1
• Available for a 4-6 month internship with a willingness to work 5 days in the Berlin office

About us

Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030.
