Founders Associate

About the Role

This is a high-ownership generalist role sitting directly alongside the founding team of a fast-growing B2B go-to-market agency in the DACH region. You will act as a strategic sparring partner on key decisions, own critical projects end-to-end, and help build the operational and analytical foundations that sustain rapid growth. The role matters because it sits at the intersection of strategy, automation, and execution during a pivotal scaling phase.

What You'll Do

• Own strategic projects from start to finish, building and scaling processes using AI and automation tools such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, and Claude.

• Lead financial planning responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and developing scalable financial processes.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and automate workflows using AI-native tooling and automation platforms.

• Build data-driven decision foundations through modern business intelligence structures (e.g., Snowflake, Looker Studio).

• Serve as a trusted strategic sounding board to founders, contributing your own perspective on growth and direction.

• Develop and launch new business ideas and go-to-market strategies from concept to execution.

• Produce rigorous analysis, structured decision frameworks, and clear implementation plans on complex topics.

• Mentor team members and interns, setting a high standard for quality and ownership.

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a fast-moving environment such as a startup, consulting firm, or venture capital setting.

• Native or near-native German (C2) and fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Hands-on experience building and managing operational processes using automation and AI tools (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Claude, or similar).

• Practical background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a business context.

• Experience managing or mentoring team members or interns.

• Ability to develop data-driven insights and build BI structures using tools like Snowflake, Looker Studio, or equivalent.

• Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies or new business initiatives from the ground up.

• Strong analytical skills with a track record of creating structured frameworks for complex problems.

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree.

• Background in B2B SaaS or B2B technology is a plus, as is direct experience working with founders in early-stage environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 36,000 to 75,000 EUR per year , depending on experience. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

Hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany . Regular in-office presence is expected.
