Data Platform Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Monitor our data platform: Continuously oversee and validate data workflows and data platform operations to ensure data quality, consistency, completeness, performance, and availability, while proactively detecting and resolving issues to maintain reliable, high-performing data systems.
• Work with our core dataset: Take ownership of our central database with over 50,000 (and rapidly growing) IT solutions, ensuring high data quality through hands-on validation, enrichment, and issue resolution. You should enjoy working directly with real-world data and be motivated to continuously improve its accuracy and reliability.
• Hands-on stakeholder support : Support internal and external stakeholders by resolving data platform-related queries through hands-on work in backend and internal systems
• Solve operational issues: Prioritize operational issues and provide responses in an efficient, hands-on and timely manner
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify data and process improvement opportunities by acting as a bridge between Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to drive data platform improvement measures and product scalability initiatives
• Strategic data expansion: Design, configure and integrate new data sources into our data platform.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Education & Experience: Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics or comparable field, with >1 years of relevant professional experience in Data, Operations, Solutions Engineering, IT, Enterprise Software, or a comparable role
• Language proficiency: Fluent German and English (both required). Our customers are German enterprises, and German is the primary language of business
• Analytical excellence: Outstanding process-orientation, analytical, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and structured thinking
• Problem-solving mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to challenge the status quo and find hands-on and creative solutions; comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Technical aptitude: Hands-on mentality and comfort working close to technical systems and backend tools. You learn fast and will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members to get you up to speed on our data platform and software, becoming an expert on Stackgini
• Communication & collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with high ownership, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively across teams
• Ownership and drive: High ownership with a proactive attitude, eager to take responsibility and motivated to deliver excellent outcomes. Strong sense for relevance and prioritization in your work

• Experience working with AI-driven software
