Tasks

Apply and combine your technical expertise, best practices, and the latest technologies to build and scale our React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js/TypeScript backend, powering our cross-platform app (Web, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android). You’ll own features end-to-end—from designing responsive UIs and robust APIs to optimizing database performance and deployment pipelines.

Impact - As a member of a fast-growing startup, you will work with other members of the Engineering team but also closely collaborate with UX Designers, Content writers, Product Managers and other stakeholders to deliver new iterations of our product.

Quality & Reliability - We serve thousands of small and medium businesses which heavily rely on Ninox to drive their business and processes: bring our automated testing strategy, monitoring, and alerting solutions to the next level to detect defects early and ship fixes fast.

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable professional qualification.
• You have 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a specific focus on JavaScript / Typescript on the backend and react on the front end.
• You can transfer knowledge and learnings between all the different stacks and engineering disciplines
• You are an expert in engineering practices- you know how to implement test driven and behaviour driven development paradigms for frontend development, and you are an expert in respective frameworks and libraries, for example Jest.
• You believe in automation, and you know how to drive deployments, automated testing and verification. You can ship code to production, understand docker containers and how to host applications on the cloud.
• Follow the "You build it, you run it" approach and take pride in it.
• You value clean code, clean architecture, and you can provide actionable and excellent code reviews
• You have been involved and have been leading topics such as Application Architecture, Design Patterns, Refactoring
• You know that performance matters and you know how to build a highly scalable, performant client-side app which runs on the Web and Native apps.
• You are a team player, eager to mentor your junior colleagues and grow as a group.
