YOUR ROLE

• Own and evolve our AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)

• Manage and optimize our web server setup (nginx on Ubuntu)

• Operate and configure Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection)

• Automate infrastructure and deployments (IaC with Terraform or similar tools)

• Work closely with our PHP/Laravel development team

• Ensure high availability and top performance in staging and production environments

• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar)

• Implement security best practices for web applications and infrastructure

• Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines

OUR TECH STACK

• PHP 8.x / Laravel

• nginx on Ubuntu

• AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)

• Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS Protection)

• Docker

• GitLab CI/CD

• Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK

• Security-first mindset: web app hardening, access control, patching, firewall management

WHAT YOU BRING

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures, ideally AWS

• Strong Linux system administration skills (Ubuntu)

• Solid nginx knowledge (reverse proxy, TLS, rewrite rules, etc.)

• Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, caching, WAF, SSL/TLS, rate limiting)

• Experience with PHP/Laravel environments is a plus

• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and automation

• Basic understanding of IT security and modern threat landscapes

• A structured, self-driven working style – more builder than slide-deck artist 😉
