Our ESG management software supports organizations along their sustainability journey with features such as CO₂ footprint calculations, transition planning or automated sustainability report generation. As Junior Expansion Manager - working student, you will support the team as a crucial force in developing new business areas and markets enabling us to expand our business across Europe. This is a very dynamic role ideal for those students with an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive for action, who are comfortable communicating with leads via phone.

WHAT YOU DO

• Expansion strategy: Support the analysis of new geographies and markets to identify new expansion opportunities for Code Gaia.
• Business development: Support the designing and implementation of multichannel outbound lead generation engines helping us test out new markets and quickly learn about new customer groups.
• Lead qualification: Contact new leads via phone or text, understand their needs and help qualify them for the sales funnel.
• Presentation & Documentation: Prepare insights, reports and presentations for the team & management.

WHO YOU ARE

• Studies: Enrolled in a university degree program for at least one more semester.
• Work Experience: Prior internships or working student positions, especially in startups, are a strong plus.
• Language skills: Business fluency in English & at least B2 level in German required. Additionally, fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.
• Availability: At least for 6 months available and ability to attend regular in-person meetings in the Berlin office.
• Drive for Excellence: You set high-quality standards for yourself and your work, are not satisfied with the status quo, and are eager to learn and continuously improve your skills .
• Hands-on-mentality: Proactive work style, willingness to take responsibility and develop own proposals to problems.
