Founder’s Associate at AI Startup (Full-Time or Internship)

We are Verdo[.]ai (Berlin & San Francisco) - VC-funded company, backed by repeat entrepreneurs with significant prior exits in developer tooling and data infrastructure.

We are building software that gives enterprises trustworthy visibility into engineering output and AI-assisted code, helping them measure ROI, strengthen security, and protect IP in the AI-first software era.

You will join a small, high-velocity team working at the intersection of AI, developer productivity, and enterprise software. As Founder’s Associate , you’ll work directly with the founders on the company’s most important initiatives around operations, recruiting, finance, and GTM. This is a front-row seat to building an AI startup from zero to one.

Tasks

• Research and strategy : Produce concise market and competitor briefs with clear recommendations.
• Special projects : Run cross-functional projects across product, partnerships, or fundraising end-to-end.
• Operations : Maintain internal systems in Notion, Google Workspace, Attio, and QuickBooks. Drive meeting prep, notes, and follow‑through.
• Recruiting : Build and run sourcing, outreach, screening, and funnel reporting. Design and maintain repeatable processes.
• Finance and admin : bookkeeping, expenses, and simple reporting. Support investor updates.
• Founder leverage : Proactively manage calendars, travel, and priorities. Protect focus time and unblock decisions.

Requirements

• Early-career talent (0–2 years) or recent graduate from a top business or engineering program (e.g., WHU, HSG, Bocconi, TUM, LSE, HSE).
• Evidence of ownership and initiative in fast or ambiguous environments, ideally in startups, consulting, VC, or tech.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, structured thinker with a builder mindset.
• Comfortable learning new tools quickly and managing multiple workstreams.
• Fluent in English (German a plus).
• Genuine curiosity about AI, software engineering, and how enterprises adopt new technology.
