As a (senior) data scientist at DATATRONiQ , you will be instrumental in developing our cutting-edge Industrial IoT and AI platform that transforms machine and sensor data into actionable intelligence. You will apply Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics to detect anomalies, predict equipment failures, and monitor product quality in real time.
Working closely with developers, data engineers, and domain experts, you will take ownership of the full Data Science lifecycle driving the process from exploration and feature engineering through to successful production deployment and validation, thereby delivering solutions that create real impact in manufacturing.

What are your responsibilities?

• Work in an agile environment to develop, train, and deploy robust Machine Learning models for Industrial IoT applications
• Analyze and process large-scale machine and sensor data, especially time-series analysis, feature engineering, and anomaly detection algorithms
• Collaborate closely with developers and data engineers to seamlessly integrate models into production systems
• Ensure high-quality, reproducible results through proper testing, model validation, and ML pipeline best practices
• Actively contribute to model design, data-driven feature development, and the product roadmap
• Support the development of AI applications through a balanced approach combining proven techniques and state-of-the-art methods

What is your qualification?

• Completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and essential data science libraries and machine learning frameworks
• At least three years of very hands-on experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment into production environments
• Great written and spoken English; German is a big plus
• Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset, initiative, and enthusiasm for applying AI in real-world industrial settings
• Open to exploring new AI technologies and methods
• Bonus (not required)
  • Experience with time-series analysis and signal processing
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization or CI/CD for ML pipelines
  • Experience in the productive use of LLMs and agentic AI workflows
