Doodle is a B2B SaaS platform used by millions of professionals to coordinate meetings and collaboration across teams and companies. We are expanding from a scheduling product into a broader productivity and coordination platform, which creates meaningful technical challenges at scale.

We aren’t just looking for someone to "write code." We need a Systems Builder . Someone who gets excited by the precision of reactive programming, the complexity of event-driven architectures, and the unique edge cases that arise when processing time across every global time zone simultaneously.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Own the Backend: Design and ship high-performance services in Go and Java that serve millions of global users.

• Wrangle "Time": Tackle the fascinating logic behind global scheduling—where millisecond precision meets complex human variables.

• Scale High: Optimize our core platforms for massive concurrency and global distribution.

• Lead the Standard: Champion clean code and CI/CD excellence in an environment that values "doing it right" over "doing it fast."

What do you bring?

• The Foundation: You have a deep grasp of DS/Algo and distributed systems.

• The Toolkit: You are a pro in Go and/or Java and have experience shipping production-ready backend services.

• The Mindset: You think in Events . You understand Kafka, reactive systems, and how to build for scale.

• The Bonus: If you’ve danced with Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS , you’ll feel right at home.
