Senior Fullstack Developer (Berlin)

The Privatize engineering team is seeking a Berlin-based Senior Fullstack Developer with deep expertise in Python, Django, JS, and TailwindCSS to lead the development of strategic platform features. With at least 5 years of experience or exceptional technical ability, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the product architecture, driving implementation, and delivering creative, user-focused solutions.

Tasks

• Lead end-to-end development of new features using Python, Django, JS and TailwindCSS, from architecture to deployment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams to turn concepts into scalable and maintainable code
• Manage technical projects, establish timelines, and ensure successful delivery
• Gather and interpret feedback from users and stakeholders to drive product evolution
• Advocate for best practices in code quality, performance, and security
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused engineering culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including deep expertise in Python, Django, modern JS frontend frameworks, and TailwindCSS
• Proven ability to independently manage and execute on complex projects
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a track record of crafting creative, scalable solutions
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and aligning tech decisions with product strategy
• Familiarity with AWS, Github, Sentry, and Figma
• Bonus: Experience in private markets, fintech, or B2B2C platforms
