As a state-accredited private school sponsored by the Würth Foundation, Freie Schule Anne-Sophie in Berlin, Germany offers a continuous educational path from elementary school to the German Abitur. Classes are held all day and are bilingual in German and English right from the start. At Freie Schule Anne-Sophie Berlin, English speaking and German speaking teachers and educators work together to create a bilingual culture in the school. • Collaborate with grade level and subject teaching teams to develop unit and lesson plans according to the school's internal curriculum
• Design creative, engaging, and differentiated learning opportunities for multi-lingual and multi-cultural students
• Accommodate instruction methodology for English language learners and special education students
• Use various assessment methods to evaluate and track student progress, communicating this progress to parents in conferences and reports
• Create a positive, structured, and safe learning environment for students
• Work in professional learning communities to improve teaching and learning
• Build strong and positive parent-teacher relationships and actively promote parent-teacher partnerships

• a teaching degree from a university or college of education, a Master's degree in education is preferred but not required
• good knowledge of current education and research-based methodologies, such as the science of reading and working with multi-lingual students
• experience working in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural school environment
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written) and at least basic knowledge of German
• Enthusiasm and patience when working with children
• Strong ability to collaborate within teaching teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
