Senior People Operations Specialist (m/f/d) - Freelance

Your role

To support our HR team at Pepco, we are currently looking for a Freelancer (m/f/d) in the area of People Operations with a focus on HR systems, operational processes, and the integration of SAP Employee Central and Personio.

• People Operations: Supporting the day-to-day HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle, including administrative HR processes, employee data maintenance, and operational support for internal HR-related requests
• HR System Management: Supporting the operational management and daily usage of SAP Employee Central and Personio, including maintaining system-related HR processes and ensuring data accuracy within both platforms
• System Integration Support: Supporting the integration project between SAP Employee Central and Personio from an HR and process perspective, including data alignment, process coordination, testing support, and ensuring smooth collaboration between involved teams
• Process Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve and standardize existing HR processes in order to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly workflows within an international environment
• Data Management: Maintaining, reviewing, and structuring employee data across HR systems while ensuring a high level of data quality and consistency between platforms

Your profile

• Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations, ideally within an international environment
• HR Expertise: Strong understanding of operational HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle, including contracts, absences, employee data management, and HR compliance topics
• German Labour Law: Solid knowledge of German labour law and HR-related compliance requirements
• HR Systems & Technical Skills: Hands-on experience working with SAP Employee Central and Personio, confident handling HR systems and employee data, as well as good MS Office skills
• Languages: Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
