Job Description

As an Indirect Tax Consultant/Project Manager (m/f/d)  at AUTODOC, you are at the forefront of Indirect Tax compliance transformation, leveraging advanced data analytics to support data-driven processes.

You act as a key cross-functional partner, collaborating closely with teams like Fintech, Accounting & Tax, Supply Chain, and our external technology and advisory partners, ...

• Driving the accurate and timely Indirect Tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Performing deep data analysis and reconciliation using SAP and other integrated systems, and business intelligence tools like PowerBI.
• Assisting in the comprehensive analysis and documentation of the tax impact resulting from new corporate projects.

Responsibilities:

As ' Consultant ' Indirect Tax, you ...

• Support the preparation and review of Indirect tax returns (VAT, Intrastat, Excise Duty, DAC7, Digital Services Tax) and managing coordination with external tax advisors.
• Conduct deep dive data analysis and reconciliation using SAP and other integrated systems.
• Collaborate with IT & Finance to optimize tax-related processes (e.g. AI, automation, digitalization).
• Assist with request of tax authorities.
• Support with management of Indirect tax related projects.
• Grow your expertise through continuous learning opportunities, including participation in our dedicated Finance Academy.

As ' Project Manager ' Indirect Tax, in addition to the responsibilities of 'Consultant' Indirect Tax, you ...

• Manage Indirect Tax related projects.
• Monitor and maintain VAT determination (“VAT engine”) in SAP.
• Assess VAT impact of business initiatives / corporate projects.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Completed degree in Tax/Finance (minimum degree: Bachelor).
• 1 - 3 years of experience, ideally in retail and/or e-commerce business.
• Passion for technology, highly motivated to explore and use new tools for process optimization.
• Advanced English skills.
• Agile Mindset with excellent analytical skills and a high degree of integrity. A proactive team player with proven task and time management abilities.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage routine tasks effectively while developing the ability to work independently with moderate guidance.

Desired:

• SAP (S4/HANA) experience is an asset.
• PowerBI skills in reporting and data analytics.
• First/developing project management skills.
