You will join an elite team of +60 hands-on builders serving 1 billion students worldwide. If we execute on our product vision, you will have built something generational that transforms education globally. We’ve built a product millions of students love , powered by an engineering team that ships & learns extraordinarily fast. Now we’re going all-in on craft . The kind of UI excellence, motion design, and systematic thinking that turns a loved product into a world-class one.
We just brought on a new Head of Design . We’re building a design system from the ground up. And we’re working with Ragged Edge (the agency behind the Transferwise & Granola rebrands) on a major brand evolution .

You won’t be maintaining someone else’s vision. You’ll be shaping it from the start.

• Craft-obsessed: The details are the design. You push back until the bar is raised.

• AI enthusiast : From prototyping to research to shipping. You see AI tools as a multiplier, not a threat.

• Systems thinker: You care about scaling quality across a product, not a pretty Figma library. Code-first design systems, AI-powered design reviews, whatever works at speed & scale.

• Simplifier: Education is messy. AI is unpredictable. You turn complicated user journeys into experiences that feel obvious.

• Biased to action : You move fast by default. Prototypes over presentations, experiments over endless debate.

• Builder : You like getting your hands dirty. Bonus if you’ve shipped a side project end to end, or opened a merge request.

• Team-first : Direct feedback, no preciousness, no territory. Engineers prototyping features? More builders means better outcomes.

• Curious : New tools, new patterns, new ways of thinking. You stay up to date & experiment continuously because you want to, not because someone told you to.

What you'll do

Raise the bar on everything students see, touch & feel. Make the Knowunity product undeniably world-class.

• Set the standard : UIs students want to screenshot & details they feel, but can’t name. Your work is the reference point.

• Scale it : Curated references, stellar components & sharp reviews. Make it easy even for vibe-coding PMs to hit the standard.

• Pioneer AI-native design : AI changes how we research, ideate, ship, as well as what we ship. You’ll figure out both, from AI-assisted workflows to AI-native product experiences.

• Idea to production, fast : Work directly with C-level & engineering. Concept on Monday, shipped on Wednesday, live for a million students on Thursday.
