What’s happening at Vay

• First to roll out vehicles in both Europe and the USA on public roads without a human being inside & currently the 2nd largest commercial, driverless car fleet in the Western World.
• We've partnered with Kodiak to bring remote-driving technology to autonomous trucks in the US, showcasing our ability to integrate our system into heavy-duty commercial vehicles and expand the applications of our tech across the US.
• We’ve completed 10’s of thousands of trips so far and are busy multiplying our Las Vegas fleet just to meet demand!

Why this role is exciting

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior IT Administrator to own and scale our internal IT operations, tools, devices, user management, and automation across Vay.

This will be in a critical role working across almost every department at Vay, and supporting the entire organization by owning and evolving our internal IT systems and tools. From managing Google Workspace and Atlassian products to troubleshooting daily issues, you’ll be the go-to person for everything IT. You'll have the autonomy to make improvements, automate processes, and scale infrastructure as we grow, while ensuring our internal systems run like clockwork.

What you'll be driving

• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware for seamless functionality company-wide
• Manage internal network services and a suite of technology tools
• Set up and manage user accounts; especially in Google Workspace and Atlassian products
• Automate internal IT processes to drive efficiency and minimize manual work
• Support helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of desktop, application, and equipment issues
• Maintain and evolve internal IT documentation and policies to keep them accessible and crystal clear

This might be a great fit, if you have

• Several years of experience in a similar IT administration, support or helpdesk position
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, or similar IT administration systems
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS administration
• Great communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem solving mindset
• Ability to automate processes and tooling.
