Senior Frontend Engineer (gn)

What will you do

• Take ownership of the frontend architecture across our key Data Pipeline product, while staying fluent across our other codebases (Importer, User Platform, Admin Panel), and drive high-quality implementations using React and TypeScript

• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend features and contribute reference-level code for complex UI challenges

• Shape and improve our design system, component patterns, and UI/UX standards in collaboration with Product and Design

• Establish and promote engineering best practices around performance, accessibility, testing, state management, and code structure

• Drive code quality through structured reviews, pair programming, and guidance on frontend patterns

• Lead and maintain an engineering-led frontend backlog (UI consistency, tech debt, design system improvements, performance upgrades)

• Collaborate closely with Product and Backend to ensure smooth integration with APIs, SDKs, and platform services

• Mentor other frontend engineers, helping to elevate the overall level of frontend engineering maturity

• Play a key role in the long-term frontend strategy , preparing to take over more ownership of the frontend domain over time

What are we looking for?

• 6+ years of professional experience in modern frontend development with React and TypeScript

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture , state management patterns, performance optimization, and large-scale component design

• Solid product mindset — you think about usability, UX, business value, and technical scalability

• Experience collaborating in agile, fast-paced environments , able to iterate quickly and ship quality work

• Familiarity with SDK development , client-side debugging, and working with API-driven products

• A passion for mentorship and raising the bar through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

• Excellent English communication skills , able to work closely with our Germany-/Thailand-based engineering teams

• Berlin-based (or willing to relocate)

Nice-to-have

• Experience with other frontend frameworks ( Vue.js , Angular)

• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts (useful when integrating with backend teams)

• Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned engineering practices

• Experience in agentic coding workflows, AI-powered development tooling, or advanced dev tooling
