The role

Join MPB as a Pro-Video Product Specialist and play a crucial role in transforming the photography and videography gear marketplace! As a key member of our team, you’ll use your expertise to meticulously grade, list, and capture stunning photographs of each product. Your specialist knowledge of professional video and cinema equipment and precision ensures each item is presented flawlessly, facilitating smooth transactions and maintaining rigorous quality checks.

What you will be doing

• Accurately check and assess professional video, audio and cinema equipment to determine functionality, condition and overall quality.

• Processing all inbound orders through our in-house software system

• Preparing, photographing and writing descriptions of items for sale

• Work efficiently to meet team productivity and quality objectives while maintaining the required standard of assessment.

• Research and interpret technical specifications to correctly identify and evaluate equipment.

• Actively collaborate with the other teams to support the creation of new product models and provide specialist technical information to support accurate pricing decisions.

• Maintain and continuously develop specialist knowledge of professional video, cinema, audio and related technologies.

• Contribute to maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring products are assessed and represented accurately throughout the checking process.

What we are looking for

• Strong specialist knowledge of professional video and cinema equipment (preferably ARRI, RED, SONY, BLACKMAGIC, CANON etc.)

• Professional experience working with cinema cameras and professional video equipment and operating and maintaining professional cinema/video equipment.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain productivity without compromising assessment accuracy or quality and to work independently while following established processes and quality standards.

• Ability to research and interpret technical specifications.

• Comfortable using software and digital systems as part of day-to-day work.

• Genuine passion for and continued interest in professional video and cinema technology.
