Quant Researcher (m/f/d)
From Day 1, you will be leveraging BIT Capital's quant team by conducting quantitative research with the goal of generating actionable insights and developing systematic signals and strategies. Your responsibilities:
- Idea generation for new trading signals, patterns and backtesting ideas
- Work in tandem with senior members of the Quant Team on quantitative research papers and systematic strategies
- Partner with the Data and Fundamental Research Team on research questions
- Support the development of various tools that helps us testing our strategies and portfolio management
- Master/PhD in a technical discipline like Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, CS or similar with excellent results
- Exceptional knowledge of statistical concepts, machine learning, time series and modeling
- 1-2 years of proven expertise in investment strategies and financial markets, gained through either professional roles or personal ventures.
- Extremely methodical and structured working approach
- Outstanding programming skills in Python and SQL, R is a plus
- First experience in working with LLMs is a plus
- Knowledge of data structures and database architectures is a plus
- You are passionate about technologies and quantitative investment strategies
- You are a curious person with a strong willingness to learn and consistently improve
