You’ll make an impact by

• You lead national and international development and innovation projects in the medium voltage sector, taking ownership for success and results.
• You conduct pre-development studies to demonstrate the technical feasibility of new products and technologies.
• You work on the development of innovative design features.
• You integrate new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs.
• You are responsible for quality, costs, and timelines until the completion of the innovation, ensuring that all goals are met.
• You build and maintain contacts with partners, research institutes, and universities to foster knowledge exchange and innovation.

This is how you'll win us over

• You have several years of experience in vacuum switching technology and mechanical and electromechanical drive systems and profound knowledge of switching devices for indoor and outdoor applications.
• You have excellent project management skills, enabling you to lead innovation projects in groundbreaking technologies and proven experience with multiphysics systems, including electromagnetics, mechanical, and thermal domains,
• Your working style is characterized by an innovative, adaptable, and proactive attitude, enabling you to contribute optimally to a wide range of projects and technological challenges.
• You are creative with strong analytical skills, result and target orientation, high quality standards, and team play.
• You have a Ph.D. or a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or in a related field and good knowledge of CAD and hands-on experience with software such as Siemens NX.
• You have excellent communication skills in English and German, and you can effectively present sophisticated results to multiple audiences.
