Operations Manager - Expansion Cities (Berlin-based, Germany-wide travel)

Mmaah is entering an exciting new phase of growth as we expand rapidly nationwide. To support this expansion, we are creating a new Operations Manager – Expansion Cities position within the Operations team.

This role will act as the key operational bridge between HQ in Berlin, our regional store teams and Franchise network. You will ensure operational excellence, consistent quality standards, and strong store performance across multiple cities, while traveling regularly to support on-site execution.

Tasks

• Support and coach Store Managers in expansion cities, including shift planning, staffing structure, and daily operations (company owned and Franchise)
• Implement and roll out operational changes such as new product launches, recipe updates, and process improvements
• Monitor, analyze, and report store KPIs (productivity, speed of service, ratings, quality, and sales performance)
• Conduct regular quality audits and ensure adherence to brand and operational standards (company-owned stores and Franchise)
• Coordinate maintenance topics and ensure fast resolution of site-related issues
• Serve as the primary communication link between HQ and regional store teams
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency across locations
• Travel frequently to expansion cities to provide hands-on operational support

Requirements

• Previous experience managing multiple restaurants, retail locations, or dark stores (e.g., QSR chains, food retail, or last-mile grocery concepts)
• Strong operational mindset with proven ability to improve KPIs and team performance
• Comfortable working in a fast-scaling, hands-on environment
• Excited to “get hands dirty” and learn kitchen operations in full depth
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coaching skills
• Willingness to travel regularly across Germany while being Berlin-based
• Fluent German & English required (both in C1 Level)
