Social Media Intern (Dev Focus)

What you’ll do and why it’s career defining

You will be our first dedicated social media intern, working closely with the founders, Chief of Staff, and content team. This role is a unique chance to help define our digital presence in real time as we create a new category. You’ll learn how to grow an early-stage company’s voice, experiment across platforms, and directly contribute to brand awareness and developer adoption.

What You’ll Own

• Content Creation & Scheduling : Draft, edit, and publish posts across LinkedIn, X, Mastodon, Bluesky, Reddit, and our blog.
• Channel Management : Maintain a consistent, authentic voice across developer-focused watering holes and communities.
• Engagement : Monitor comments, threads, and discussions to respond quickly and thoughtfully to build credibility.
• Analytics & Iteration : Track engagement and reach, report on what’s working, and recommend changes for higher impact.
• Community Amplification : Spot and share relevant news, memes, and discussions from the dev ecosystem to stay top-of-mind.
• Collaboration : Work with product marketing, DevRel, and engineering to source ideas and turn them into engaging posts.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Platform Fluency : Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Mastodon, Bluesky, Youtube and emerging dev channels.
• Writing Ability : You can write sharp, concise posts that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
• Curiosity About Tech : You don’t need to be an infra expert, but you should enjoy learning and breaking down technical concepts.
• Trend Awareness : You know how to spot trends early and tailor them to a developer audience.
• Organization : Ability to plan content calendars and juggle multiple platforms without missing a beat.
• [ BONUS ] Design or Video Skills : Basic ability to create graphics, short clips, or memes is a plus.
