What you’ll do

• You manage long- and short-term trading for our power portfolio

• You continuously optimize our hedging strategy.

• You manage positions, risks, and exposures in real time.

• You identify market movements early and translate them into concrete trading decisions.

• You continuously optimize pricing, timing, and procurement strategies.

• You develop a toolbox of electricity products (physical and financial, as well as short-, medium-, and long-term products) and cross-commodity products to optimally implement the hedging strategy.

• You interact with power exchanges, OTC partners, brokers, and clearing banks.

• You work closely with forecasting, data, and operations teams to enable better and faster decision-making.

• You actively help build a scalable trading setup together with senior management.

What you’ll bring

• Several years of experience in power trading or energy portfolio management, including hands-on experience working with exchanges, OTC partners, brokers, and clearing banks.

• Degree in financial mathematics or a quantitative/scientific field.

• Strong understanding of European electricity markets (e.g., EEX, spot and futures markets).

• You think in terms of risk, price, and probability—not processes.

• You make decisions quickly and can explain them clearly and convincingly.

• You work with code instead of Excel (e.g., Python, SQL, C++).

• EEX Trader Certificate is a strong plus.
