Job Description

As Director of Portfolio Management, you will lead a high-impact team overseeing the operations, compliance, and performance of our financing vehicles. You will ensure optimal asset performance, maintain investor confidence, and continuously improve processes in collaboration with tech, finance, and data teams.

What You’ll Do:

Operational Excellence

• Lead the monthly drawdown and cashflow forecasting process, ensuring accurate fund flows and compliance with financing terms
• Oversee the financial performance of our leasing and loan portfolios
• Ensure timely and accurate investor and regulatory reporting, while streamlining reporting processes and tools
• Manage relationships with equity and debt investors in our SPVs, including preparing and running board meetings
• Ensure covenant compliance and manage key operational finance processes
• Drive data integrity across the portfolio and support company-wide decision-making through asset performance insights

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute initiatives to enhance portfolio performance and optimize Enpal’s financing structures
• Partner on strategic projects related to our financing solutions, including new market entries, product expansion, and SPV structuring
• Identify and close gaps in the current portfolio management setup, working cross-functionally to drive scalable solutions

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a growing team, spanning data, lease and loan portfolio managers, and controlling
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the portfolio management function

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, investment banking, structured finance, project finance, or similar fields
• Strong understanding of debt structures, SPVs, and covenant management
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing investor relationships
• Analytical mindset with a hands-on attitude and a drive for process improvement
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
