Job Description

How does your working day looks like ...

• You’ll coordinate events with all internal departments and ensure that everyone has all the necessary information
• You will be responsible for all group enquiries for 8 rooms or more
• You will be responsible for preparing quotations, contracts and invoices
• You will prepare forecasts, reports and sales analyses
• You will attend internal meetings
• You will act as the point of contact for the team in the manager’s absence
• You will actively maintain customer relationships and support sales activities
• You will ensure compliance with hotel standards and quality assurance in the events department
• You will enter bookings into the system, draw up rooming lists and prepare everything for a seamless check-in and stay
• You meet clients in person and stay in touch with them by phone and email
• You organise tours of the premises for event and corporate clients
• You keep a clear overview, even when every room in the hotel is booked out and things are getting hectic
• You support the onboarding and training of new team members when needed
• You prepare and update event orders, making sure all departments have the latest details
• You coordinate last-minute changes and find practical solutions when plans change
• You liaise with external partners and suppliers when needed
• You follow up with clients after their events and help build lasting relationships
• You are organised, detail-oriented and stay calm when plans change

Qualifications

• You have professional experience in a similar role and are a passionate host
• You are an open and communicative person who isn’t afraid to stand your ground when necessary
• You enjoy working with people and inspiring them
• You are passionate about good food and drink and enjoy discovering new concepts
• You bring not only your skills but also your personality to the role
• You are fluent in German and English
