Strategy & Operations Manager - Investments
- Fully leverage and further develop critical business skills including quantitative and qualitative analysis, project management, communications, stakeholder management and leadership in a high-functioning team environment.
- Collaborate with leadership across various functions on product execution and strategic topics such as KPI definition and monitoring, roadmap development and business case development.
- Become the central point of connection between internal and external stakeholders including Product & Tech, Legal & Compliance, Customer Operations, Banking Operations, Marketing and external partners.
- Lead high-impact projects in the investment field end-to-end, from initial strategic design to delivery execution to ongoing improvement and management.
- Constantly review data to gain a deeper understanding of the products/projects under your supervision, and ensure their performance is in line with defined KPIs.
- Be involved in the full lifecycle of partnership management from requirements gathering, through selection and negotiation to implementation of new partners and ongoing the supervision and analysis of their performance.
- You have 5+ years prior experience in financial services - fintech/banking, investment banking, or startups. Direct experience in the investments field is a big plus.
- Ideally graduated with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics or a related field.
- Understanding of key business drivers and desire to proactively seek out opportunities and recommend solutions that can be effectively supported.
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail and fluency in Excel, as well as SQL, are a must.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments to develop ideas, identify opportunities and resolve conflicts.
- Strong project management with experience in implementing large projects with senior stakeholders, ideally in the Investments space.
- Deep understanding for the banking industry and a strong interest in investments, if not a direct experience in this field.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines and with shifting priorities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- A growth mindset and agile approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in managing relationships with external partners and evaluating their performance; strong commercial acumen.
- Masters or MBA degree is a huge plus.
