Your Role as a Head of Marketing – Germany

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing to establish and grow our presence in the German market. You will lead marketing for our SaaS solution serving businesses across banking, accounting and the wider FinTech ecosystem.

Your focus will be on building brand awareness, generating qualified demand and developing valuable relationships across the German market. You will own the marketing strategy across events and sponsoring, partnerships, social media, website content, public relations and SEO.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the German market, aligned with company and commercial goals.

• Build brand awareness and qualified demand for our SaaS solution across banking, accounting and the wider FinTech ecosystem.

• Plan and manage relevant events, sponsorships and strategic partnerships, including joint campaigns and co-marketing initiatives.

• Own the German social media and website content strategy, ensuring clear, relevant and conversion-oriented communication.

• Lead public relations and media activities, including press releases, company news, expert commentary and reputation building.

• Drive SEO across content, technical foundations and authority building to increase qualified organic visibility and conversions.

• Set budgets, KPIs and reporting, and coordinate internal stakeholders, agencies, freelancers and external partners.

• Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and company leadership

About you

• Several years of experience in marketing, communications or digital marketing, ideally in SaaS, banking, accounting, FinTech or a related B2B environment.

• Experience owning an integrated marketing strategy and managing external partners or agencies.

• Strong understanding of the German market and relevant business, financial or technology audiences.

• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Experience in several of the following areas: events, partnerships, social media, website content, PR and SEO.

• A data-driven, entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach, with strong project management skills.

• Confidence representing the company externally and working with senior stakeholders.

What success looks like

In the first 12 months, you will have:

• Established a clear marketing strategy and reporting framework for Germany.

• Increased brand visibility across the German banking, accounting and FinTech ecosystem.

• Built a relevant network of media, event and strategic partners.

• Developed effective German-language content and a sustainable SEO roadmap.

• Generated measurable engagement, qualified demand and business opportunities.
