Founding Marketer - Inbound, SEO & Brand Authority (m/f/d)

tl;dr: We help companies deploy their emloyees globally without worrying about compliance issues.

We are bootstrapped, profitable and growing more than 2x YOY at currently 3 Mio ARR. You will own our entire inbound funnel, from technical SEO and backlinks to how our brand shows up in search and in AI answers.

We are one of the leading Global Mobility and Travel Compliance Operations Platforms in Germany and Europe. We help organization work globally, without worrying about compliance issues.

Our platform automates compliance and risk assessments, so companies know before a trip starts which obligations and risks apply. That covers visa and immigration topics, tax questions and local registration duties. For assignments we add Assignment Management, Cost Projections and balance sheet calculations. This removes manual work, risk and operational friction for HR, Global Mobility and Travel teams.

Our customers include KUKA, ENERCON, BioNTech, Roland Berger, TKE, Mitsubishi Electric, JetBrains and many more.

Tasks

(What you own

You are the operational heart of our marketing, hands-on, and you own the inbound funnel end to end.

• Inbound funnel. Ownership from first visibility to the lead in our CRM. You carry the inbound lead target with us.
• On-page and technical SEO. Full responsibility for our rankings on the commercial keywords that bring buyers, including site structure, internal linking, structured data and page performance.
• Off-page and backlinks. You run our link building yourself. Digital PR, industry publications, partner and customer pages, guest contributions, HR and Global Mobility media. You decide which links are worth going after and you go after them.
• Brand authority. You build premote into a recognised entity in our category. Consistent brand and product naming, author profiles and expert positioning, structured data and entity signals, presence on the review and directory platforms our buyers use, such as G2, Capterra and OMR Reviews.
• AI visibility. Responsibility for how we show up in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and for the sources those answers are pulled from.
• Website. Our site is fully self-hosted and built and maintained with Claude Code and Claude Design. You work directly in the code.
• Content engine. Continue developing our own, self-hosted content engine on OpenClaw, the system we use to produce and maintain case studies, one-pagers and sales material.
• International growth. You turn our website and our content into the engine for our growth beyond Germany.

Also part of the role:

• Social media content (company account)
• Publishing SEO content on a regular cadence, including topic planning, briefings and updates of existing pages
• Helping with event planning (physical as well as webinars)

How we measure success

This is a performance role which carries targets on the inbound funnel:

• Inbound leads per quarter / year, agreed with the founding team
• Organic traffic and rankings on our core commercial keywords
• Referring domains and the quality of the links you earn, not the raw count
• Branded search volume and share of voice in AI answers for the questions our buyers actually ask
• Sales material and case studies shipped, and how often sales uses them

Requirements

We need someone who wants to do bold and cool stuff, without just throwing gigantic budgets on ads. We need you to have:

• Deep SEO skills across the whole discipline. Technical, on-page, content and off-page.
• A real (own) point of view on brand authority and entity signals, and on why some domains get cited in AI answers while others do not.
• Black belt in Claude, Claude Code and Claude Design. You work with them daily, not occasionally.
• Fluent with the tooling. Search Console, GA4, and a crawler and backlink suite such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Sistrix.
• Experience in B2B marketing, ideally SaaS, HR tech, payroll or global mobility.
• Excellent English, which is our primary content language. Very good German as well.
• A strong feel for storytelling and for showing our strengths precisely.
• Independent, structured way of working and real drive.
