Freelance Studio Assistant and Cleaner

Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and inviting space? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Freelance Studio Assistant/Cleaner!

As a crucial part of our team, you'll seamlessly blend two essential roles: ensuring our studios sparkle and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers. Your dedication will shine through as you handle both pre and post-customer cleaning, resetting studios to perfection, and maintaining the pristine condition of communal areas.

This role will be cover our Berlin studios across 5 days worked in the early morning- so its important you are an early riser with the flexibility to do a mixture of weekdays and weekends.

You'll be working on

• Cleaning and re-setting studios to perfection, ensuring they are always ready for each session.
• Thorough cleaning and disinfection of bathrooms, toilets, and restocking consumables.
• Reporting any equipment issues or facility concerns to the Site Manager promptly.
• Assisting with equipment troubleshooting and safe repairs alongside the Site Manager.
• Waste removal and regular deep cleaning tasks.
• Keeping entrances, signage, and walkways clean and presentable.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping communal areas and corridors.
• Working with the customer service team to address room repairs promptly.
• Following stock control procedures for equipment and cleaning supplies.

We're looking for

• Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Any experience of fixing, adjusting or managing musical equipment is desirable
• Ability to be flexible and reliable
• Able to work using their own initiative
• Be able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
• A can do attitude, someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get “stuck in” to issues as and when they arise

📍 Location: Berlin Pirate Studios (Prenzlauer Berg)

🕐 Schedule: Early mornings for 5 days out of 7 (Flexibility to pick your own schedule here)

💰 Pay: 20 Euros per hour

This position will be a freelance contractor position- you will need self-employment status (Freiberufler) and be responsible for your own taxes.
