Ervin Industries is a family-owned and operated Michigan (USA) company since 1920. As a world leader in the steel abrasives industry, we produce both black steel and stainless steel abrasives at multiple manufacturing locations in the U.S. and Europe. We currently employ more than 500 people worldwide with a company history spanning more than 100 years. In recent years, we began a complete re-branding effort to strengthen our corporate identity for our worldwide sales and distributor network. For our European headquarters in Berlin, we are looking for a qualified employee.

Marketing Executive (m/w/d)

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this Marketing Executive position will be to support the regional sales teams in the creation, implementation and measurement of marketing activity which builds awareness of the Ervin brand, proposition and product range, and generates demand for our products across all our European markets. You will be involved in the creation and project management of marketing materials (including literature, presentations and branded merchandise); events (trade show exhibitions, seminars and customer events); advertising (trade press); digital marketing (website, newsletter email marketing and social media). You will work with key internal stakeholders and external marketing agencies and have a close working relationship with our Marketing Manager based in England. You will also be part of our sales support team in Berlin to support our external sales representatives and their distributors via phone and mail.

Requirement:

• Completed education/studies in areas of marketing, communications, graphic design, or corporate design
• Professional experience of managing multiple projects collaboratively with internal and external partners
• Experienced in:
  • creating and editing a wide variety of marketing materials
  • website content management systems, ideally WordPress
  • graphic software such as Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop to create and edit documents for online and print
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • managing budgets
• Good written and spoken German and English, other languages are a plus
• Good level of numeracy
• Communicative, open and goal-oriented
• Hands-on mentality and a desire to make a difference
• Ambitious to develop skills and progress within the organisation
• Able to manage own time
• Attention to detail
