Senior Full Stack Games Engineer (Remote)

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Games Engineer with strong expertise in building interactive, real-time gaming experiences using modern web technologies. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, develop, and optimize high-performance game front-ends (PixiJS and React) and scalable back-end services (Node.js). You’ll play a key role in shaping our game architecture, improving performance and player experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, next-generation gaming experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the design, development, and optimization of web-based game experiences using PixiJS and React for high-performance rendering.

Architect and implement scalable back-end services using Node.js, integrating real-time gameplay features such as multiplayer, leaderboards, and in-game events

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate game concepts into performant, interactive experiences.

Optimize client-server communication (e.g., WebSockets, REST APIs) to ensure seamless, low-latency gameplay.

Apply game development best practices to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability across multiple projects.

Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment of game features and updates.

Contribute to technical strategy, code reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on game or interactive application development.

Strong expertise in PixiJS (or other HTML5/WebGL frameworks) and/or React for high-performance front-end experiences.

Proficiency with Node.js and building scalable back-end services, including real-time systems (WebSockets, multiplayer sync).

Experience with Databases, ideally Postgres

Solid understanding of performance optimization, rendering pipelines, and client-server architecture.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

Background in crypto or iGaming

Background in multiplayer gaming, gambling, or iGaming platforms.

Familiarity with game networking protocols, animations, and physics engines.

Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers.

Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
