Finance & Business Development (Biz Dev) Working Student @Mobility Stealth Start-up | Berlin On-Site or Remote starting ASAP

We’re a stealth, VC-backed pre‑seed/seed stage start-up disrupting a legacy mobility sector. With a proven expansion blueprint and a targeted M&A strategy, we’re set to triple revenue this year. Our founders – serial entrepreneurs who previously raised > USD 80m from Tier-1 US investors – are now launching into a new market.

Tasks

• Accounting Support: Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts to ensure clean bookkeeping foundations.
• Controlling & Budgeting: Help build our controlling structures from the ground up—developing reports, tracking KPIs, and supporting financial planning.
• Payroll Coordination: Collaborate closely with external payroll providers and take over internal coordination of payroll-related tasks.
• Bookkeeping Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for our accounting partners to streamline monthly and annual closings.
• M&A Analysis: Support the preparation and analysis of financial data for potential M&A projects and investor relations.

Requirements

• A true generalistic finance and accounting enthusiast who connects the dots across functions.
• Experienced in fast‑paced environments (hypergrowth start‑ups, VC, growth equity, PE, investment banking, or strategy consulting) and capable of delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• A proactive communicator and team player with a service mindset and high integrity.
• Passionate about accounting, finance, entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem with a genuine hunger to learn and grow.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's (min. 2nd semester) or master’s programme (business-related field is a plus) from a top-tier university.
• Fully fluent in German is a must.
• Available for >6 months ideally in Berlin , starting ASAP .
• First experiences in the areas of accounting, finance and book keeping is a plus.
