On a daily basis, you will:

• Utilize AI tools to streamline finance tasks, including Datev and Excel.

• Manage fiscal year closings and coordinate with external auditors.

• Ensure compliance with German payroll and tax laws.

• Deliver reliable results while meeting deadlines.

• Function independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Communicate effectively, using the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) method.

• Anticipate potential issues and act proactively to address them.

The basics you bring along:

• Fluency in German and solid English skills.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in an international SME.

• Deep knowledge of Datev and German payroll/tax law.

• Work well within a team and have a fun-to-work-with attitude.

• Act with honesty and openly admit mistakes.

• Stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

• Pay great attention to detail in all your tasks.

• Demonstrate a structured and process-minded approach to your work.

• Additional certifications in accounting or finance.
