Our client, a leading consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering data-driven transformation across diverse industries, is seeking an accomplished Head of Data & Analytics. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling the firm's data strategy, strengthening their Snowflake-centric data platform, and ensuring best-in-class delivery for clients.

As the senior data leader, you will build and mentor cross-functional teams, refine data governance practices, and serve as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and key clients navigating complex data challenges.

The Role

As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will:

Define and implement the consultancy's data strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and client needs.

Lead the development and optimisation of the Snowflake-based data warehouse, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across multiple client engagements.

Build and manage high-performing teams across data engineering, BI, and analytics.

Establish and maintain strong data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.

Collaborate with partners and project leads to deliver data solutions that drive measurable outcomes for clients.

Drive innovation through modern tooling, data automation, and advanced analytics methodologies.

Represent the consultancy as a subject matter expert in proposals, pitches, and client advisory sessions.

Technical Environment

You will work with:

Snowflake (core data warehouse platform)

dbt / SQL / Python

BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

CI/CD, orchestration, and automation frameworks

About You

You will be a strong fit for this role if you bring:

Proven leadership experience within consultancy or multi-client delivery environments.

In-depth expertise designing and scaling data solutions on Snowflake.

Strong command of data modelling, ELT/ETL patterns, and BI ecosystems.

Strategic vision combined with the ability to be hands-on when required.

Excellent stakeholder communication skills, particularly with executive and client audiences.

A track record of building and developing high-performing data teams.

Fluent English; German is advantageous but not essential.
