UX Design Lead

We are currently looking for a UX Design Lead (f/m/x) with experience in VR/XR to join our team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the overall user experience and design vision across our products. You will drive the development of a scalable design system and processes that ensure consistency, usability, and brand strength throughout our platform.

As we build a vertically integrated value chain from content production to immersive user experiences, you will work closely with our product team to define and deliver end-to-end solutions that are intuitive and aligned with both business goals and technical feasibility.

Tasks

Key objectives

• Deliver a unified, high-quality user experience and VR interface design
• Strengthen the brand through consistent design language
• Improve conversion, user retention, customer lifetime value, and satisfaction
• Increase efficiency in product development through clear design standards

Strategic responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product design vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives
• Ensure design decisions balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Build and nurture a design philosophy and design culture within the organization

Team leadership & organization

• Lead and grow the design team (UI/UX, Interaction, Service Design)
• Drive resource planning (team size, roles, integration with operating units)
• Manage interfaces with Product Management, Engineering (internal & external), Marketing, and Sales
• Introduce and maintain design processes and tools (e.g. Figma and others)
• Mentor and support the development of designers (2D and 3D)

Operational responsibilities

• Conduct UX and UI reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and usability
• Build and maintain a design system and style guides in collaboration with stakeholders
• Oversee or conduct user research, testing, and prototyping
• Translate customer feedback and analytics into actionable design decisions
• Work closely with Product Owners and Engineers to bring designs to life

Requirements

• Several years of experience in UX/UI design in VR/XR, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in managing and developing design teams
• Strong expertise in design processes, tools (e.g. Figma), and methodologies (user research, prototyping, testing)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales)
• Strategic thinker with a strong eye for detail and usability
• Ability to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution
