Operations Manager – Flex & Battery

We’re hiring an Operations Leader to scale customer delivery within a fast-growing energy technology business. Sitting at the heart of its flexible energy and battery operations team, this role owns how enterprise customers onboard, activate, and realise value from virtual power plant solutions.

You’ll build the operational playbooks, lead multi-party coordination, and ensure complex energy assets become productive contributors to the grid—with reliability, compliance, and customer confidence at the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own the end-to-end customer journey post-contract: onboarding, implementation, testing, and go-live.
• Establish scalable operational frameworks, processes, and playbooks for fleet deployment and customer activation.
• Engage grid operators, internal engineering teams, and enterprise clients—ensuring alignment and timely execution.
• Translate operational reality into strategic improvement—continuously refining workflows, data flows, and cross-team interfaces.
• Act as the connective tissue between commercial commitments and technical delivery.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience navigating energy flexibility, grid operations, storage, or related energy domains.
• Strong execution skills—able to orchestrate stakeholders, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
• Ability to build structure from ambiguity and codify repeatable operating models.
• Exceptional communication and presence—comfortable in customer workshops and internal alignment sessions alike.
• Fluent German preferred; relocation support available for candidates who meet language requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how energy systems work in practice—procurement, grid processes, customer interfacing—but wants to step into a higher-ownership position where their impact shapes how flex and battery operations scale.
