Central Operations Manager, DACH (Logistics)

Workster is partnering with a fast-growing e-mobility startup to recruit a Central Operations Manager for the DACH region.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing logistics operations and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance in one of the fastest-growing markets in the e-mobility sector.

Your Role

• Strategic Oversight: Own logistics setup and routes in the DACH region, focusing on cost optimization, service level enhancement, and long-term partner relationships.
• Performance Excellence: Achieve top-tier logistics metrics (ETA, SLA, NPS), ensuring seamless operations.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement processes to improve efficiency, financial performance, and customer experience with logistics partners.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish tools and dashboards for tracking operational performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Product, Tech) and DACH UpCenter teams to ensure smooth logistics operations across regions.
• Logistics Focus: Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction across logistics channels.

Your Qualifications

• Strong academic background (degree in business, operations, or a related field).
• 3+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, or Finance, preferably within logistics or e-commerce.
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Data-driven with the ability to analyze and optimize processes.
• Superior problem-solving skills with an ability to address complex operational challenges.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
• Attention to detail and an obsession for operational excellence.
• Strong leadership with the readiness to own a large and complex operational scope.
