Jr Marketing Manager (part time 20h p/w, flexible)

42 Berlin is a disruptive higher education NGO training 600 students to become cutting-edge software engineers in a practice-based gamified peer-learning environment.

Our model is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded in 2013 in Paris and now trains more than 18.000 students in 50+ schools across the globe.

At 42 Berlin we set out to educate the next generation of software engineers to build a digital future together.

Tasks

• Communicate with applicants
• Update our website & event pages
• Help the team organise and host marketing events
• Support the marketing team with the execution of our social media strategy
• Support the marketing team in our overall efforts to grow our talented and diverse tech community
• Take photos and notes of the events to support Social Media postings
• Support with Introduction presentations and Open Day talks

Requirements

Essential:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in a marketing or sales team
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
• Alignment with our values (inclusive and open minded)
• Basic understanding of how Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing works
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English
• Right to live and work in Germany

Beneficial:

• Good understanding of datasheets and basic data processing
• An interest in coding/tech and changing the industry for the better
• Ability to speak and write in German
