Intern Founders Associate Fintech Startup (Serial Entrepreneurs)

Firstlane Capita l is the entrepreneurial family office of Achim Bönsch, Sebastian Seifert, and Andreas Veller all WHU alumni and proven serial entrepreneurs. Over the past decade, they built and scaled viafintech (Barzahlen) into Europe’s largest bank-independent payment infrastructure, leading to Germany’s largest FinTech exit in a nine-figure transaction to Paysafe in 2021.

Founded and actively operated by Sebastian, Andreas ,and Achim , finperks brings together their deep FinTech expertise and proven track record in building scalable, high-impact ventures.

To support its rapid growth, we’re looking for a Founder Associate Intern to join the finperks founding team and experience firsthand what it means to build a high-growth startup directly alongside the founders themselves.

Aufgaben

As a Founder Associate Intern , you’ll work directly with the founders across both Firstlane Capital and finperks, gaining deep insight into venture building, strategic execution, and startup operations.

You will:

• Analyze Markets & Business Models: Research market trends, analyze competitors, and identify new business opportunities in the FinTech and prepaid ecosystem.
• Drive Strategic Projects: Support initiatives across product development, go-to-market strategy, and partnerships that shape finperks’ growth.
• Build Operational Excellence: Help streamline processes and implement scalable tools to drive efficiency.
• Engage with Customers & Partners: Participate in conversations with major players such as N26, Trade Republic, Adidas, and Apple, helping refine our value proposition based on real-world insights.
• Gain Venture Building Exposure: Work closely with the Firstlane Capital team to understand how new ventures are ideated, validated, and scaled.

Qualifikation

• Driven & Ambitious: You thrive in dynamic environments and love tackling new challenges.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to distill complex problems into actionable insights.
• Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using AI tools and automations to optimize work.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English (German fluency required).
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re excited by the idea of building something from scratch and are comfortable navigating uncertainty.

Bonus: Previous experience in startups, consulting, or FinTech.
