Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (d/f/m)

As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you act as a trusted and strategic business partner across Kleinanzeigen. You drive informed decision-making and optimal resource allocation through rigorous financial planning, analysis, and performance tracking. Your work ensures transparent reporting, strong cost management, and data-driven insights that guide the business forward.

This is a hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the Head of FP&A Kleinanzeigen.

What You’ll Do

Financial Management & Planning

• Lead comprehensive budget planning for key areas including Product & Technology (P&T), Marketing, and support functions.

• Support long-term planning with a strong focus on fostering an ROI-driven mindset across the business.

• Own the end-to-end expense cycle, monitor monthly developments, and proactively manage variances in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare detailed P&L reports including in-depth cost fluctuation analyses and clear financial commentary.

• Deliver monthly variance analyses and ad-hoc reports to provide timely, actionable insights.

• Ensure accurate and transparent OPEX reporting across all business and functional units.

Month-End Close Contribution

• Partner closely with Controllership and Accounting to ensure accurate cost reporting during month-end close.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and streamline planning and reporting cycles.

Who You Are

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• You bring 7+ years of progressive finance experience with strong exposure to accounting and financial planning disciplines.

• You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.

• You are comfortable working with large datasets, complex systems, and financial models.

• You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across organizational levels, and manage tight deadlines with a structured and independent working style.
