YPO Berlin Chapter Manager

Tasks
The Chapter Manager is the central point of coordination for the YPO Berlin Chapter. This part-time position supports the volunteer leadership team in delivering an exceptional member experience. The role includes event planning, administrative oversight, communications, and member engagement. It requires a well-organized, resourceful professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior executives.
- Act as the primary liaison for members and the executive committee
- Support new member onboarding and integration
- Drive communication and engagement through newsletters, reminders, and updates
- Maintain a warm, service-oriented relationship with all members
- Collaborate closely with the Chapter Chair and board members to implement strategic goals
- Schedule board meetings and retreats, prepare supporting materials and track action items
- Support the succession planning process and volunteer leadership transitions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, executive support, or operations coordination
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working with senior-level executives and maintaining confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and digital collaboration tools (experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus)
- Located in or near Berlin, with availability to attend in-person events
