Project Manager
Arηs is a fully independent group of companies specialized in managing complex IT projects and systems for large organisations , focusing on state-of-the-art software development, business intelligence and infrastructure services.
We are composed of 13 entities across 6 countries that are unified by the Arηs Group, with more than 1750 consultants.
This corporate structure enables us to respond quickly to market changes and customer requests, and to communicate and make decisions without layers of bureaucracy.
Our success can be attributed to the synergy among our nine complementary entities, combined with our methodologies, which are based on the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the Scrum agile software development framework.
Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle: starting with user requirements, business process redesign and specifications, to continue with development, testing and application maintenance.
Job Description
Project Management
Develop and manage all aspects of projects and engagements, including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
Oversee day-to-day project activities and resources.
Chair project management team meetings and ensure adequate resources are procured to achieve objectives within planned timeframes.
Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
Provide regular status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating effectively across leadership.
Business and Senior Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsors/focal points across the organization globally.
Provide updates and demonstrate functional acumen to show how solutions support project goals while aligning with industry best practices.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication.
Team Management and Performance
Set and manage project/program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and oversee the project team.
Monitor the performance of project staff to ensure high standards and efficiency.
Quality Control and Assurance
Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
Report on project success criteria, results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities
Qualifications
Education & Certification
- First-level university degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification or foundational certification in project management methodologies: such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum.
- Working knowledge of English: C1 or higher level.
The candidate must have:
At least five (5) years of recent professional experience in program/project planning, management, and successful delivery of complex cross-functional or interdependent projects, some at the global or international level.
Experience collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results.
Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation.
Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization.
MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Project
The candidate could have:
Extensive experience working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings.
Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations.
Experience with professional business services such as consulting.
Additional experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization.
