Senior Accountant (m/w/x) in Voll- oder Teilzeit (m/w/x)

THE ROLE

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/x) , you will be part of our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring proper financial accounting. You will be primarily responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and will serve as the point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries within the company.
Our internationally active company, with a total of 6 locations across several European countries, operates in a dynamic industry environment. In the role of Senior Accountant (m/f/x), you will have the opportunity to contribute and further develop your professional expertise in finance and accounting, particularly in financial reporting and in dealing with tax and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with internal departments as well as external partners such as tax advisors and auditors, and actively contribute to the optimization and further development of our financial processes. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to the transparency and stability of our financial management and support the company’s continued growth.

• Ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements are prepared in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) – on time, accurately, and to a high standard.
• Independently preparing the annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) (balance sheet, income statement, notes) for YOC AG.
• Responsibility for day-to-day accounting as well as the continuous improvement of our accounting processes.
• Performing account reconciliations, recording accruals and deferrals, resolving open items, and reconciling intercompany accounts.
• Support with intra-group transfer pricing issues, including the preparation and maintenance of transfer. pricing documentation and the coordination of internal service and supply relationships.
• Preparation and timely filing of advance VAT returns, summary reports (ZM), and other tax returns.
  Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments.
• Optimization and further development of accounting processes and systems.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of professional experience in accounting.
• You are confident in preparing financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills and an independent, solution-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
• In addition, you are a team player and enthusiastic about project work.
• Furthermore, you have excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English.
