Senior Director, International Finance (all genders)
About the opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Director, International Finance (all genders) to drive the International Finance team on our journey to always delivering amazing experiences.
Your mission:
Define and execute the International Finance strategy to accelerate profitable business growth and maximize FCF generation.
Lead the International Finance team (15 employees), including International FP&A and Controlling with Management Reporting responsibilities spanning all Group brands
Steer critical financial deliverables including; annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, monthly performance reporting and the 5 years strategic business plan.
Serve as a key business partner to Regional CFOs as well as International Business teams in Berlin through “value” based analytics, portfolio rationalization, and investment proposals.
Support and continuously improve the preparation of the financial month end closing under Management Reporting and IFRS.
Ensure that financial figures submitted by the Local Business teams are reviewed and contribute towards the improvement of reporting quality.
Present the annual projections and 5 year business plans accompanied by in-depth analytics to an audience of senior leaders.
Provide thought leadership behind improving and automating existing data models and business intelligence efforts supporting growth and profitability.
Be the subject matter expert for International and related performance analytics; understand and analyze related trends (P&L, balance-sheet, Free Cash Flows as well as non-financials).
Promote collaboration within International finance to drive best practices, standardization and efficiency improvements.
Execution of ad hoc finance initiatives as & when required.
Your heroic skills:
- Relevant finance experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in an e-commerce fast-paced environment.
Background in finance, accounting, or any other related field.
Proven ability leading senior teams as well as develop/coach talent.
Proven ability to build relationships and communicate with peers, subordinates, executive management & other critical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
Ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines.
Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis and financial model building.
Hands-on approach with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize.
P&L management and/or analysis experience.
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
Experience in a technology company or high-tech environment.
Experience with Planning Tools (i.e. Anaplan)
Experience with Reporting & Consolidation tools (i.e. Onestream).
