The Payment Operations team is dedicated to ensuring efficient and smooth payment operations. WeltSparen/Raisin is the most important Payment Operations cooperation for Raisin Bank.

The Payment Operations team's activities span the entire product value chain, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence in the execution, monitoring and control of payments. The team also supports the resolution of payment incidents and the execution of non-automated payments.

Our vision and goal is to achieve operational excellence and support our product and engineering teams in further automating payment processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the team in initiating, approving and investigating payments.
• Third level payment support; find out what caused the payment related problem (together with the team or other departments, e.g. Product or Engineering) and how Raisin Bank can resolve the problem.
• Assist with day-to-day operational payments tasks, such as reviewing error messages and deciding whether to escalate them to our Product or Engineering department.
• Contribute to various data analysis projects, helping to transform data into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement or to reduce daily tasks.
• Support continuous operational excellence, e.g. tracking and improving existing KPIs to measure operational performance and success.
• Participate in bank-wide and enterprise-wide projects, leading technology-led optimisation initiatives.
• Preparation, execution and documentation of test cases.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and providing status updates on assigned tasks.

Your Profile

• Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's in Germany.
• Interested in payments and able to work under pressure.
• Passionate about fintech and interested in using technology and data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with a desire to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.
• A desire to develop in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (German language skills a plus but not essential).
